Tinsdills Solicitors is a well established innovative law firm based in the North Staffordshire / South Cheshire area.
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional / administrator to join an established marketing team to assist in the effective delivery and promotion of the business.
Key elements in the role will include assisting the Marketing Manager in the delivery of the marketing plan within the agreed timelines and budgets. To achieve this you will need to have strong planning and organisation skills and the enthusiasm to arrange events, both indoor and outdoor, alongside the Marketing Manager and Legal Department Heads. You will be responsible for event bookings, invitation management and “on the day” logistical plans for events such as external client events, exhibitions, internal staff activities and charity fundraisers. To do this successfully you will need to develop positive working relationships to grow engagement internally and work closely with other members of the wider marketing team to ensure consistency of approach to marketing activities, share new ideas and best practices. You will need to invest time with key individuals within the business to learn from their knowledge and gain a general understanding of specialist areas of work. You will be expected to offer marketing and promotional assistance wherever possible, and to show initiative to accomplish marketing activities and priorities.
This role will also cover the production of online and offline content in conjunction with the Marketing Manager against the pre-agreed calendar of events and promotions. The administrative elements of the role and detailed event planning will require a good knowledge of Microsoft Packages to produce reports, maintain budgets and complete other key tasks as required.
Candidates must have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines accurately and efficiently. This role will require a proactive approach to the job and the ability to work closely with and support other members of the team.
Whilst previous experience in a similar marketing role would be advantageous, we would welcome applications from strong administrators as training can be provided in the marketing aspects of this role.
This is a full time position working Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with a one hour lunch break although it should be noted that occasional attendance at events outside of the normal working hours will be required.
Due to the need to travel in the course of business on occasion, the successful candidate will need to have access to an appropriately insured vehicle and hold a full driving licence.
